A Season of Change - July, 2004
Dear Friends and Family,
We just wanted to send out a quick update on the Fisher Family. We arrived back in the States June 8th and have been in Oklahoma for the past several weeks. Mark Brazee Ministries has found a house for us in Tulsa for the summer, it is a huge blessing. We have been going to Domata classes and getting things set up in the house. In between that we have been visiting family and Chris who has been working at a Christian camp in Kansas. He returned to the States 3 weeks before we did, so he could work at camp. We have just arrived back in Tulsa after a 2 week visit/painting trip to Colorado Springs You may be wondering what is next for us. Well we would love to tell you, but we are still seeking God on it. We have decided not to return to France. It was a hard decision, but the timing seemed right to return and we have peace about being in Tulsa. The last 3and half years have been so ordained by God. We went to serve and be a blessing there, in turn were blessed is so many ways. We will always treasure the time we spent there and praise God for it. Thank you for you part into sowing into the lives of so many in France. We know it was a fruitful time there and you will reap a great reward for you obedience in helping us do what God called us to. Here is a prophesy our Pastors had for us during our good-bye service. It encouraged our hearts as we left France and our church there.
"As you look at the horizon it seems like the sun is setting... moments of joy and of sadness...of change... it seems you don't know what to do, but just rest, like the sun, it will not be long, morning will come, you will begin to look, a new day dawns... you will see a new horizon. You are separated today. the best is ahead, a new day a new call, new anointing will rise like the sun. Doors will open and you will know clearly the direction of God and know His plans. Rejoice! Do not worry.. All is in God's hands."
Unless God shows us anything else in the next few weeks, we are looking at staying in Tulsa for the school year, the house we are in is small but priced right. Mark Brazee is allowing us to accept support for a couple months while we are in transition. Some of the things we are praying about are... Pastoring which is big on John's heart... some short term missions trips and itinerate ministry, or possibly going overseas again as a family . We mainly want God's will and timing to be clear, so we are going slow. We do know we need to refocus and God has given us the ability to do so with this house in Tulsa. He is our provider! What at honor it is to be His children and to follow Him where ever He leads... His paths are always good.
